Dahlgren & Company, Inc. is the nation's only fully-integrated sunflower facility, allowing us to manage quality control from the farmer's field to the finished product.  We pay close attention to every detail, every step of the way. Dahlgren's product purity is achieved through the use of  electronic eyes that detect and remove foreign material. The entire cleaning process is monitored by comprehensive quality assurance programs. Dahlgren's inshell roasting uses demonstrated technology to assure consistent salt levels in the finished product through controlled process vacuum, brine time and salinity. The degree of roast is carefully monitored by experienced master roasters.

Dahlgren's kernel roasting system provides continuous oil filtration and chemical analysis to assure quality roasting oil.  

Electronic color measurement controls roast variation while statistical process control methods help assure consistency. Warehousing is climate controlled to maintain product freshness.  Automated equipment ensures precision packaging and handling.  Upon request, product can be shrink-wrapped guaranteeing minimal product movement during shipping, cleanliness and ease of handling.
